We’re back with another Stitch Shopped, which celebrates various Stitch employees and their favorite Stitch customers. Working with so many amazing retailers naturally leads to a lot of shopping! (We just can’t help it.) But don’t worry, we’re not secretive with our favorite brands; we love to share!
This time, we are hitting the highway with Con, one of our success team members, and his favorite cycling apparel to wear, Panache! Con just returned from the IRONMAN 70.3 North American Pro Championship in beautiful St. George, Utah. While competing, he donned his favorite Panache gear to ensure he’d be at top performance potential. We sat down with Con to discuss Panache and why he loves them.
Describe Panache and what initially drew you to them.
“Panache is a relatively new client of ours that had a big impact on me during our initial contact. I scoped out the company prior to our meeting and absolutely loved the cycling gear they designed. My excitement boiled over as soon as I hopped on my call with Andy, the Panache rep, and we got lost for a few moments, talking about their high quality gear and upgrades I needed to make to my wardrobe. The energy I received back from Andy made everything pop. Stitch clicked for him, and I was 100% going to be a new customer of theirs so I can look good and move faster on my bike!”
Why did you choose Panache as one of your favorites?
“Many of the kits available for cyclists today are so over the top with logos everywhere you look and so many colors on them. You can’t tell if the product was designed or slapped together in a few seconds. The moment you look at Panache gear, you can tell they invest time into making quality products designed to pique the interest of anyone with an eye for fashion. The color ways and sleek designs on the gear make them one-of-a-kind pieces when you’re out on a big ride. Some of their latest options include intricate lace designs for women, which I think are really beautiful.”
What product(s) do you own and where do you like to show them off?
“I own the Grand Prix Neon/Purple Kit and absolutely love wearing it on every ride I can. It’s always clean and ready to go for my big weekend rides across the Golden Gate Bridge. It definitely makes me feel like the best dressed guy on my bike, which goes a long way! I totally operate under the “look great, feel & perform great” principle! I plan on adding some new Panache gear to my arsenal very soon to switch things up for Summer. Most recently, I used the kit at the 70.3 Ironman in St. George, Utah and decided to run in my Panache bike kit at the last second of my transition – it turned out to be the best idea I had all day as the gear was so comfy to run in and saved me 2-3 minutes of changing time, which helped me crush my goal time!”
