Stitch Labs Doubles Quarterly Revenue, Adds to Management Team

Inventory management leader names new chief marketing officer and vice president of engineering

Stitch Labs, the industry leader in cloud-based inventory control and multichannel commerce solutions, today announced rapid growth that has resulted in the addition of a new chief marketing officer (CMO) and vice president of engineering. Jill Richards has been named CMO, responsible for marketing, branding and business development, and Shahram Moatazedi has been appointed vice president of engineering, accountable for the growth and development of Stitch Labs’intuitive and streamlined platform.


As a cloud-based inventory management platform that helps businesses unify sales channels, gather crucial data and fulfill orders faster, Stitch currently processes more than $100 million in sales transactions each month and has seen a 716 percent increase in orders processed in the last year. This exponential growth is what led to the addition of Richards and Moatazedi as well as a four-fold increase in employees since Q4 2013.

With more than 20 years of experience fueling growth in enterprise and startup technology companies, Richards has a breadth of knowledge related to the integration marketing and sales with strategy. Previously, she served as CMO of Big Data innovator Terracotta, where she led global communications, product, partner and field marketing. In addition, Richards founded Gray Wolf Partners, a consulting firm delivering growth strategies and marketing programs to companies such as Cisco, eBay and Wells Fargo

Vice president of engineering Moatazedi has been a leader in Silicon Valley for the last 18 years, most ecently as senior director of engineering for NICE Systems, where he was responsible for big data analytics and mobile platforms. With a proven track record of leading technical staff, Moatazedi will be critical in ensuring the Stitch platform scales with our customers, integrates with additional e-commerce partners, and delivers even more advanced features like predictive analytics.
