Stitch Labs has been named a 2014 Silver winner in the small to medium business products category by the Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts.
Stitch Labs was recognized for its outstanding multi-channel inventory management and selling solution designed for small and mid-sized businesses. Judges also recognized the company's customer-focused beginnings and substantial growth since its 2011 inception.
CEO and founder, Brandon Levey, created the award-winning SaaS application after attending a trade show for his t-shirt line and realizing that entrepreneurs were recording orders and inventory changes on post-its or spending hours entering data into spreadsheets. He knew there had to be a better way to seamlessly sync and manage all the ways companies sell their goods. He envisioned a cloud-based, easy-to-use modern application built for teams and Stitch was born.
In its first year, Stitch won "Best in Show" at the South By Southwest Interactive festival, and in 2013 Stitch had a 1,000 percent increase in revenue and received its first round of funding, led by Costanoa Ventures and True Ventures. That same year, Stitch processed more than $100 million in sales transactions monthly and saw a 716 percent increase in orders processed.
Best in Biz Awards' fourth annual North American program was its most competitive yet. As in previous years, the fourth annual program in North America featured a large and distinguished judging panel comprised of members of the media who reviewed and scored the hundreds of award nominations. More than 550 award nominations were received this year in a variety of company, executive, team, and product focused categories. Nominations were fielded from public and private companies of all sizes, from virtually every major industry and region in the U.S. and Canada.
"We're elated to be chosen as a silver winner from such an esteemed judging panel of editors and industry analysts. Our goal has always been to help small businesses run as efficiently as possible and make business owner's lives easier," said Brandon Levey, CEO and founder of Stitch Labs. "We have plans to add features and functionalities such as online accounting software and eCommerce add-ons in 2015 that will make Stitch Labs even more dynamic."
Stitch Labs' cloud-based inventory management platform helps businesses unify sales channels, gather crucial data and fulfill orders faster. Integrating with sales channels such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify and Square, Stitch currently processes more than $100 million in sales transactions each month and has seen a 716 percent increase in order volume in the last year.
Winners of Best in Biz Awards 2014 were determined based on scoring from an independent panel of 53 judges from highly recognized newspapers, business, consumer and technology publications, radio outlets, and analyst firms. In addition to the numerous judges returning from previous panels, this year's 53-person judging panel included several worthy additions to this high-profile group. The panel included contributors such as Inc. Magazine, PC Magazine, ZD Net, and AdWeek.
