Intuitive and beautiful design are fundamental to Stitch Labs and they differentiate us as a brand. As we grow, we need to ensure consistency, beauty and simplicity across all media communications. The Senior Designer, Brand & Marketing Communications will make that happen, owning and nurturing the representation of the brand as we scale. This is a "lead and do" position that will exist within our marketing team and report to the CMO.

Management Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Stitch Labs brand (principles, identity, visual concept and execution across website and blog, digital marketing and advertising, sales, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines for internal, partner and public use
  • Coordinate with product team to formalize in-app brand standards and execution
  • Lead cross-functional teams to set goals and deadlines for completing creative projects
  • Define workflow of creative projects
  • Mentor a junior designer including tasks, process, and career guidance

Responsibilities: Execution

  • Develop creative briefs
  • Design concepts and templates that meet business and production goals
  • Produce sales and marketing campaign concepts and strategies, and required assets (videos, guides, articles, sales materials, presentations, display ads, etc.)
  • Implement brand standards and maintain production quality across the company's various brand implementations

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong graphic, communication, and interactive design capabilities
  • Strong understanding of brand structures; proven development and execution of brand strategy
  • Experience working independently and leading a team of creatives within a marketing and communications role
  • Strong strategic thinker, able to conceive and execute marketing solutions consistent with company brand and objectives
  • Ability to articulate design strategies and ideas to marketing and other stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a team focused mentality
  • Experience designing for a variety of channels (paid and earned), including ad units, applications, mobile technologies, social media
  • Knowledge of digital media best practices
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple high profile projects, able to set and meet expectations related to time and cost

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree - preferably in Advertising, Design, Communications, or similar
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience owning the brand for one or more companies/products
  • Experience with SaaS and/or commerce offerings a plus
  • Agency and in-house experience a plus
  • Experience with agile marketing processes a plus
