Business Development Manager 

San Francisco, CA

The Business Development Manager will play an important role in helping us unlock more value from our expanding partner ecosystem. This person will be responsible for coordinating sales, marketing and business development efforts with our partners. The successful candidate will be a talented communicator, salesperson, marketer & project manager. This role sits within marketing and reports to the Director of Business Development. While you don’t need to be an engineer, understanding basics about APIs, SDKs, etc. are important.

Your role will be to coordinate and help execute inbound and outbound efforts with a growing array of partners, including but not limited to:

  • Identifying opportunities that will drive revenue and leads for the company

  • Understanding the Stitch application and how it fits into the larger B2B commerce ecosystem

  • Maintaining activity calendars, tracking & reporting for all partner programs

  • Executing partner activities including webinars, in-person meetings, trade show exhibits, contests, promotions, advertising, etc.

  • Coordinating the development and distribution of content, reports, webinars, etc. between Stitch Labs and our partners

  • Maintaining priority listings in partner app stores

  • Building relationships with partner sales, marketing and business development teams

  • Maintaining an up-to-date and well-organized repository of partner assets, content, plans, reports, etc.

  • Helping to build partner programs for partners that deliver value for Stitch and our partners



  • 1-3 years of relevant experience managing partners and/or sales

  • Experience supporting marketing and sales teams

  • Experience with SaaS and/or commerce services highly desired

  • Familiarity with inventory management, multi-channel selling, and e-commerce, accounting and/or supply chain a plus

  • Experienced using email and marketing automation platforms, salesforce.com and MS Office suite


  • Undergraduate/bachelors or higher degree

  • Emphasis on marketing/sales a plus


  • Excellent organization and time management ability

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • Strong team player

  • Able to self-prioritize

  • Strong organization and follow through capabilities

  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines
