Last week was awesome! We had our first StitchUp and we launched a major feature enhancement for our Shopify users. We also made a smaller change that will have a major impact on our customers. During our StitchUp we had an excellent Q&A period. Stitchers from all over the country were able to have a live chat with us and each other. During that chat, we took a live vote on what people thought about having our Stitch Labs logo on their external documents (i.e. invoices, packing slips, and line sheets). The vote was a landslide that our customers would rather not have the Stitch Labs logo on their documents. Don't worry, it didn't hurt our feelings. We understand that these documents are an extension of your business and we want to make sure they represent you as professionally as possible.
This was great feedback and we immediately removed the Stitch Labs logo. We had been debating this change for a while and having an opportunity to talk live to a large group of customers at once was enough to make the decision easy. Having the ability to impact change is just one of many reasons you should be sure to participate in our future StitchUps. Our next event is planned for April 26th at 1PM PT. Sign up even if you can't make it. We record the events and we'll be sure to let you know how to get your hands on them.
We love feedback and we're doing our best to listen to our customers. Of course, we need to be selective about the changes we make. We have to think about how changes affect thousands of people. But we do listen and make changes when the time is right and we have the resources to make things happen. Leave a comment below and let us know what you think about this change.
We had some additional HUGE news last week, but that will be delivered in another post soon enough. Until then, Stitch on!
