You got it. As founders Beth and Greg Carpenter stated, "One can never have too many beads!" And after browsing the thousands of beautiful products on Etsy, I believe them!
However, when those thousands of products became too difficult to manage, the Carpenters turned to Stitch’s simple and centralized platform.
What problems were you running into that led you to search for Stitch?
My wife and I opened the shop in March of 2008, and our team has grown to four employees including our son, Zac, and our friend, Pam. We offer more than 7,000 items through our Etsy shop and were working with another inventory system before Stitch. It was inconsistent in its ability to keep us organized, save time, and grow our business. We stayed with that product for a long time because options for Etsy shops were few and far between, especially ones that could handle the amount of products we have.
How are the things different for you now that you use Stitch? What's changed? What's better?
Now with Stitch, shop operations are much more organized and inventory is spot on. It has allowed us to focus on growing our business instead of recounting beads because our previous inventory system "lost" inventory counts. With Stitch as the “master” of our stock, allowing for the relisting mechanism, we have saved tons of time and effort.
Can you estimate how much time you are saving with Stitch?
What are you able to do now, that you weren't able to do before using Stitch?
The biggest change is that inventory management is automated instead of being a front-and-center event every day. Inventory should be something that just happens and doesn't take energy away from growing your business. Stitch allows us to do that!
Can you estimate how much your sales increased since you started using Stitch?
Our average items per order are up by about 10% since we started using Stitch.
What are your plans for growth? How do you see Stitch playing a role in that?
By the end of the year, we hope to be selling through multiple channels. Beth and I are certain that without Stitch, even considering multichannel would not be possible. Our immediate goal is to launch our own website. Once that is up and running, we will look into other sites like eBay or Amazon. Stitch will be absolutely necessary in making that happen!

Stitch has allowed us to move away from worrying about inventory and instead focus on growing our business.
