Customer Story: How Centralizing Data with Stitch Increased Sales by 15%

Swords of Might, a niche retailer specializing in one-of-a-kind swords and weaponry, is among the most interesting customers in our Stitch community. The company boasts one of the largest selections of Samurai, Medieval and fantasy swords available, offering genuine handcrafted and battle-ready Samurai swords as well as a wide selection of other weapons and armor.

When founder Jason Moore started the company in 2009, he ran the business by himself in a small brick-and-mortar store without any formal inventory platform. A few years later, he expanded his operation to four ecommerce sites and added Stitch to better manage his multiple sales channels.


Tell us a little bit about your company:
When I first started our business it was just me, myself, and I. I ran a little brick-and-mortar store selling my swords and knives and had a simple POS system, but was also interested in selling on the Internet. A few years later my operation had expanded to several websites, a few employees, and a lot of customers.


What problems were you running into that led you to search for Stitch?
I have four websites and many sales thanks to tenacity and hard work. I have been through different order management systems, such as Lynnworks, Stone Edge, and Brightpearl. My biggest challenge was finding one that was automated and let me easily link to other services such as payment and shipping programs. I had always dreamed there’d be a solution that was efficient, inexpensive and could control many facets of my business.

Then, I found Stitch Labs.


How are the things different for you now that you use the Stitch Labs platform? What's changed? What's better?
Stitch offers just about everything I wanted in a contact and order management system. It automatically brought all of my orders and contacts from four websites together under one beautiful roof, let me organize all of the data in a useful way, and has a very automated approach to running a business. It is super fast and can be accessed from any web browser. It’s great for working on the go!


Can you estimate how much time you are saving and how much your sales have increase since you started using Stitch?
Stitch saves me at least 40 hours a week, and our sales have increased by 15% since I started using Stitch.


What are you able to do now, that you weren't able to do before using Stitch?
With Stitch, I’m able to run beautiful reports that have meaningful data and keep contacts and inventory straight. I’m also able to automatically keep all of my websites and sales channels in sync.


What are your plans for growth? How do you see Stitch playing a role in that?
I plan on hiring more employees and maybe adding some new sales channels. Without Stitch Labs, I would be hiring more employees just to do the work that Stitch automates for me now!


Can you summarize in one sentence what difference has Stitch made for your business and for you, personally?
Stitch gives me more time to focus on growing my business instead of running my day-to-day operations. I could go on and on about the wonders of the Stitch Labs platform and how it has automated so many things that I would be paying people to do manually, but it would take days to say how many things it can do.
